About the event
From September 21-30, 2023, we invite you to celebrate the Fall Harvest in Waterloo Region’s countryside.
#TastetheCountrysideWR returns for 2023 to celebrate the Fall Harvest. This 10-day dining event promotes delicious menus that incorporate local produce as prepared by food establishments located in Waterloo Region’s townships.
This year our Taste the Countryside box includes:
- Locally made Pita Chips and Summer Sausage from Kitchen Kuttings
- Red Pepper Jelly and Apple Chutney from Country Style Products
- Maple Syrup from Edgar Gringrich
- Gouda Cheese from Meadow Song Farms
- 1/2 doz. Apple Fritter voucher from Apple Fritter Co.
IMPORTANT!
Pre-order your box online and pick it up at the Market Office (located in Peddler's Village) on Market days (Thursdays and Saturdays) or you can buy a box in person while your visiting the market.
