WHAT IS ST. JACOBS FARMERS MARKET?
St. Jacobs Farmers' Market is Canada's largest year-round farmers' market.
located on Weber Street North in Woolwich, Ontario — about 15 minutes north of Waterloo and Kitchener. Open every Thursday and Saturday, plus Tuesdays through the summer, the market has welcomed visitors since April 1975. St. Jacobs Farmers' Market welcomes approximately one million visitors each year, making it one of the most-visited agricultural markets in Canada.
Spread across three indoor market buildings and a large outdoor market, 300-plus vendors offer Ontario-grown produce, freshly baked goods, locally raised meats, Mennonite family recipes, artisan crafts, antiques, and specialty foods. The market reflects the deep agricultural and Mennonite heritage of Woolwich Township, with many vendor families who have been selling here for generations. Whether you're stocking a week's worth of groceries or spending a full Saturday morning exploring, St. Jacobs Market is a destination unlike any other in Ontario.
