For nearly four decades, Amigos Distributing has been part of the fabric of our market, bringing western flair and generations of family tradition to every market day.
Founded in 1987 by Jim and Irma Lisinski as “Maria De Guadalajara,” the business began by importing vibrant fashion and treasures from Mexico. Their son Mike joined not long after, driving his Lincoln Continental—fondly nicknamed the “Land Yacht”—through the mountains of Mexico to hand-select merchandise.

In 1995, Mike and his dad shifted their focus from women’s fashion to something closer to home: western wear. Cowboy hats, boots, moccasins, and more became their signature—and the rest is history.
Today, Amigos Distributing proudly spans four generations, with even Mike’s great-granddaughter eager to spend time at the market.

Please join us in celebrating Michael Lisinski and his family for their unwavering commitment, rich history, and heartfelt connection to our community.
